R&B Musicality Class

A special musicality class bringing live music and dance together in the same room.

Martín Burguez & His Rhythm Combo will take you inside the music — exploring how the band works together, the role and character of each instrument, and how musicians shape their music for dancers.

On the dance side, Markus & Katja will guide you through the connection between what you hear and how you move, exploring rhythm, style and ways of embodying the music.

With the full band actively involved throughout the class, you’ll have the chance to listen, experiment and dance directly to the ideas being explored.

More than a class with live music, it’s a conversation between musicians and dancers created especially for JAI.
